2011 FAIR QUEEN & PRINCESS
Being the 2011 Miss Modoc County Fair Queen has been the best experience of my life so far. It was more than i ever expected it would be, and I am so proud to have been able to represent Modoc County the best I could.
Throughout my time my Princess Olwyn Bostic and I were able to represent Modoc County and be part of five parades and County Fairs. I hope to see the tradition of the Modoc Dirstric Fair Court be continued in the years to come so many more girls can have the opportunity to be part of something so great.
I would like to again thank the Surprise Valley Chamber of Commerce and my parents for supporting me and sponsoring me throughout my journey as Miss Modoc County Queen. Leah Berryessa
Being the 2011 Modoc District Fair Princess is definately a big part of my life. Being able to represent Modoc County was a wonderful experience! Not only did my queen, Leah Berreyessa and I attend the 2011 Modoc County Fair, we also were able to represent Modoc County at the Fandango Days parade in Alturas, the Lassen County Fair parade and fair, the Lake County parade and fair, and of course the Modoc County District parade and fair.
Being on the fair court is truly a great experience. Meeting a lot of new people, being involved in so many important events that shape Modoc County, and developing leadership skills is definately something that will benefit Leah and I throughout our lives.
I would like to thank the Lake City Fire Department and the Cedarville Fire Department for sponsoring my reign as the Modoc County Fair Princess! It has been an honor to take part in the 2012 Modoc district fair. Olwyn Bostic
